How to Obtain CME Credit Through a
Dynamic Educational Program
for Healthcare Professionals
The Kidney Cancer Journal has a long-standing commitment to continuing medical education (CME), sharing advances in cancer research with health care professionals through CME activities such as conferences, symposia, and other CME opportunities.
The Kidney Cancer Journal provides CME credit through the CME program of the City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, California and made possible through a grant from Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
This program is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME.) In 2005, the City of Hope CME Program was reaccredited with commendation, with exemplary compliance demonstrated in six essential elements. This designation places their CME Program in the top 1% to 2% of CME program providers in the nation. City of Hope is also now listed as a “best practices” resource on the ACCME Web site under their Exemplary Compliance List.
To obtain CME credit for the current activity in the Kidney Cancer Journal, please return to the Homepage and click on the current journal posted on that page. Instructions in the journal’s CME section (page 9) will provide readers with details on obtaining CME credit. CME credit is also available in a supplement to the Kidney Cancer Journal, entitled, mTOR, A Novel Target for Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Additional CME opportunities are available through the Kidney Cancer Association. The Association’s website contains information on gaining access to these educational offerings.
